Most industrial facilities that discharge storm water to public streams or rivers are required to maintain a SWP3.  Facilities that follow a well-prepared SWP3 can also experience decreased flooding, increased safety, and a reduction of storm-related property damage.  AEC’s personnel have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and permitting SWP3s for such facilities as ready-mix concrete batch plants, hot mix asphalt plants, and sand and gravel mines, throughout the United States .  Our personnel have the necessary knowledge to navigate that complex stormwater regulations for each locality (federal or state) and the tools needed to prepare a SWP3 in a timely, cost-effective manner, allowing facility personnel to focus on facility operations rather than stormwater regulations.
